The Harveys
Composites Pacer 27 Regatta was a resounding success, sailed
offshore Durban in May. Racing was very close with Rick
Nankin and his team pulling off a first, followed closely by
Bo Szalek on his boat. Fun and games was the order of the
day on the first day out with 15 to 20knt winds and a nasty
confused sea. Fantastic to see the boats skidding along
under full spinnaker, with acceleration far outpacing the TV
chase boats trying to get good shots.
